Joe Rodon makes loaned move following Tottenham exit
Tottenham player, Joe Rodon is closing in on a move to another Premier League side via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past several days. Tottenham have agreed to let go off the defender who’s all set to join Leeds United on loan for the upcoming season. Despite several other players being linked to Leeds United in the recent days, it’s Joe Rodon who joins the club earlier than them all this summer.
Joe Rodon to join Leeds United for the upcoming season
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Joe Rodon ‘s move to Leeds United is almost a done deal now. The agreement between the two clubs for the player’s supposed transfer has been completed. The deal regarding the player’s season long loaned transfer to Leeds shall soon be fully finalized.
Joe Rodon who was born in the year 1997 began his senior career with Swansea City in the 2015/16 season. He however got to make his senior debut only in 2018. He made a eye catching move to Tottenham Hotspurs in the year 2020. He made 24 appearances during his two year stay at the club before making a move to Rennes on loan. After having spent the later half of the last season on loan in Rennes, he had 20 appearances for the club during which he scored a goal too.
Leeds United on the other hand have been majorly mediocre lately. The side finished 17th in the Premier League last season. With 38 points in as many matches including just 9 wins throughout the entire season, the side narrowly managed to escape the relegation zone finishing just above Burnley, Watford and Norwich City.
The team’s major motto will be to deliver better performances in the upcoming season to achieve better positions in the league and thereby eliminate any possible risks of relegation.
