Jamie Bynoe-Gittens signs new deal with Dortmund

English professional footballer Jamie Bynoe-Gittens has signed a new deal with his club Borussia Dortmund recently. The negotiations with respect to the player’s new deal were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Dortmund around a couple of years ago is now all set to stretch his period of stay at the club even further. The player’s new deal with the club has nearly been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.

Jamie Gittens extends his stay at Dortmund

Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Jamie Bynoe-Gittens’ new deal with Dortmund has almost been completed. Dortmund have already agreed on the new deal for the English talent. The player shall sign a deal that’ll be valid until the year 2028.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens who was born in 2004 began his senior career with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund back in 2021. He got to play a total of just 4 games for the club throughout the 2021/22 season. It was in the following season that he came to everybody’s notice as he made 20 appearances across all competitions. He has played a total of 25 matches for the club so far scoring 3 goals.

The player is yet to represent England at the senior level. He has been a part of his country’s U-19 side. He also represented the U-21 team during the recent UEFA European Under-21 championship qualification.

Dortmund who missed a chance to lay their hands over the Bundesliga title in 2022/23 season by a whisker will be hoping to start things right from the beginning once again. The club has let go off several star players of its over the past few years. Jude Bellingham who was one of the brightest young stars in the club made move to Real Madrid this season. It will interesting to see as to how the club uses its talented youngsters including James Gittens and as to whether the teenager is able to help the team achieve its objectives hereon.
