Ismailla Sarr all set for a move to French club following Watford exit:-

Ligue 1 club, Olympique Marseille have agreed on a deal to sign Ismailla Sarr from Watford. Sarr who had an year left in his contract with the championship side, Watford is on verge of making his love to France. No meaningfully talks regarding his extension at his old club might have caused his transfer to Marseille in all possibilities. The Senegalese’ playing style makes him a quite fantastic option which any top level club would like to avail. Although there were several other offers from the Premier League for the player, Marseille ended as the frontrunner in signing him at last. Marseille’s coach, Marcelino considers him a perfect match for the team and so did the club made it a point to include him to the team in this summer’s transfer window.

Sarr’s medicals with Marseille on the way

The agreement between the two clubs concerned had been made earlier today as per several resources. The deal agreed upon by both the clubs for Sarr’s transfer was of £20m. The player after having signed his 5 year contract with his new club shall be undergoing his medical visit for his side shortly. The Senegalese winger was one of Aston Villa’s major target in this transfer window. Tottenham too had been keeping an eye on Sarr. However neither of the Premier league clubs managed to execute their plans with regard to their expectations as Sarr is now headed to France.

The 25 year old began his career at Mentz in the year 2016. He followed it up with a move to Rennes. For the major part of his career so far, he has stayed at his former club Watford. He played a total of 131 games and scored 34 goals during his 4 year stay at the club. A player with his playing style will definitely add more worth to Marseille’s line up. His fine contributions in the attack will be something which Marseille will be desperately waiting to watch in the upcoming season. It remains to be seen as to whether Sarr is able to fit into his new team and add value to the team’s overall performances.
