Exequiel Palacios signs new deal with Bayer Leverkusen
Argentinian international Exequiel Palacios has signed a new deal with Bayer Leverkusen lately. The negotiations with respect to the player’s new deal were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Leverkusen around four years ago is now all set to lengthen his stay at the club even further. The player’s new deal with the club has nearly been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.

Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Exequiel Palacios’ new deal with Bayer Leverkusen has nearly been sealed. The player has extended his contract with the club and the new deal will be valid until the year 2028. Exequiel Palacios who was born in 1998 began his senior career with Argentine club River plate in the year 2015 at the age of 17. He stayed at the club for four years during which he scored 10 goals in 92 matches.
He thereon made a move to German club – Bayer Leverkusen in the 2019/20 season. The defensive midfielder has played a total of 87 matches for the club so far scoring 8 goals.Palacios made his senior debut for Argentina in the year 2018. He has played 25 games for his country at the senior level till date.
Bayer Leverkusen have been in fairly good form lately. The team finished sixth in the league last season. With 50 points to their name in 17 games throughout the season the team managed to cement its place in the upcoming season’s Europa League.
