Clinton Morrison feels that Leandro Trossard can move to Newcastle United in the January Transfer window
On Sky Sports News on January 14, 2023, Clinton Morrison reported that Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United may be interested in acquiring Leandro Trossard from Brighton and Hove Albion during the January transfer window.
According to reports, Trossard wants out of Brighton in the middle of the season, and the former Crystal Palace striker has suggested that Newcastle may be a good fit for him.
According to The Athletic, the 28-year-old winger has a rift with Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi. The agent of the 28-year-old Belgian international winger has asked the Seahawks to help negotiate a transfer this month.
According to the rumour mill, Tottenham Hotspur’s verbal bid of £12 million for Trossard was rejected. Leandro Trossard is said to be joining Newcastle United.
Morrison speculated that “Newcastle may be one” in reference to Trossard.
We don’t think it’s probable that Newcastle United will be able to acquire Leandro Trossard from Brighton & Hove Albion during the January transfer window. The Magpies now have a plethora of options in their assault unit. And would manager Eddie Howe even consider signing a player who has publicly feuded with his present coach?
Not in our opinion. With 25 goals and 17 assists in 116 Premier League games, Trossard has established himself as a key player for his club.
