Chelsea Transfer News: €54m rated Chelsea player linked with Bayern Munich

Chelsea Transfer News: According to reports, new Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has already discussed Chelsea forward Kai Havertz with the club’s board.

Havertz worked under Tuchel at Chelsea, but the Germany international has struggled to reach top form at Stamford Bridge. As a result, he is being considered for a transfer back to the Bundesliga, where he looked very promising during his time with Bayer Leverkusen.

Tuchel and Bayern seem to have reached an agreement that there is currently no place for Havertz in the Allianz Arena team, therefore it appears that this topic will not develop further.

In recent days, two more of Chelsea’s elite players—Mason Mount, according to the Times, and Mateo Kovacic, according to the Standard—have been connected with moves back to Germany to reunite with Tuchel at Bayern Munich.

Chelsea Transfer News: What’s next for Kai Havertz?

Havertz’s lack of development over the last few years makes it hard to see him having a long-term future at Chelsea, even if he doesn’t leave for Bayern.

Fabrizio Romano reported in his CaughtOffside blog this week that Christopher Nkunku is on his way to CFC for the next season, and that he may be joined by another striker.

Kai Havertz has claimed he was taken aback by Jorginho’s decision to leave the club and sign with Arsenal in January. Arsenal was looking to replace Mohamed Elneny, who went down with an injury, with Jorginho in the latter days of the transfer window after failing to acquire Brighton’s, Moises Caicedo.

With just a few hours remaining, Arsenal announced that they had signed the Italy international to an 18-month contract with an additional year’s worth of options.

The 31-year-old has already made an impression at the Emirates, appearing in eight games for the Gunners in all competitions after being acquired for under £12 million.
