Carlos Augusto joins UCL finalists on loan from Monza
Monza player, Carlos Augusto has completed a loaned move to another Italian club via this season’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past several days. The Brazilian drew a decent amount of attention following a brilliant season with Monza recently in the top flight. As a result the player had been linked to several top clubs across Europe lately. The player’s move to his new club is complete as per several sources.
Carlos Augusto joins Inter Milan on loan
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Carlos Augusto’s move to Inter Milan on loan has been completed. The final fee is of £13m with the add ons. The player shall be joining his club with mandatory buy back clause. Fabrizio also mentioned that Corinthians will receive percentage of the deal.
Carlos Augusto who was born in 1999 began his senior career with Corinthians in the 2018/19 season at the age of 19. He made 37 appearances for the Brazilian club during his three year stay scoring one goal in the meantime. He thereon made a move to Serie B club, Monza in the 2020/21 season. He was a part of the team when it gained promotion to Serie A in the year 2022. He played 107 games for the club in three years besides scoring 12 goals and assisting another 11.
Monza have been in pretty good rhythm in the recent times. The side which gained promotion to the Serie A only in 2022 did extremely well last season to finish 11th in the league. With 52 points in 38 matches the team put forward a commanding performances to cement their position in the upcoming Serie A season as well.
The team’s major motto hereon will be to achieve even greater results in the league and make efforts to enter the European competitions in near future. The onus will be on the club’s new signings including Carlos Augusto to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
