Bayern Munich fans serenade after beating Manchester United at Old Trafford

Bayern Munich supporters did not hold back their opinions on the Manchester United squad.

Manchester United‘s encounter versus Bayern Munich is a must-win. They are now last in their Champions League group and must play the deadly Bayern Munich. A victory would mean that they might still qualify for the round of 16. The traveling Bavarian supporters ensured the Red Devils knew what they thought of them as the squad began warming up for the crucial encounter.

Manchester United had only one victory in the Champions League thus far. They have three losses and two draws. They lost a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 in their most recent Champions League meeting. In addition, they have two of three matches in December.

When Erik ten Hag initially arrived at Manchester United, one of his main goals was to return the club to the Champions League. They reached the quarter-finals in his debut season before falling to Sevilla. They did finish third in the League, earning a place in the UEFA Champions League in 2023/24.

They traveled to Germany to face Bayern Munich on their first Champions League night in 16 months. They came within a point of winning but were defeated 4-3. They then fell 2-3 against Turkish giants Galatasaray at Old Trafford. They ultimately won their first match, defeating Copenhagen with a solitary goal from Harry Maguire.

They were defeated once more, this time by Copenhagen, 3-4. The following game, they surrendered a 3-1 lead to Galatasaray. With only 5 points from 5 games, they now need a win over Bayern and draws from Galatasaray and Copenhagen to move to 8 points, while the other two remain at 7. Anything less than a win would result in their elimination from the Champions League.
