Auston Trusty closing in on a move to the newly promoted Premier League side
Sheffield United are on verge of signing Auston Trusty from the Premier League runners up, Arsenal. The club has shown interests to sign the player as the negotiations regarding the player’s transfer were taking place over the past few days. Trusty who isn’t a supposed part of Arsenal as well as coach – Arteta’s plans either is a candidate for departure as of now. The player who had been on loan to Arsenal since January shall now be making a move to Sheffield United, a club that has newly been promoted to the Premier League for the upcoming 2023/24 season.

The USA player has earlier not featured in his side’s preseason face offs against Manchester United and Barcelona. The fact that he has been away from action lately is perhaps because of Arsenal not willing to risk his fitness prior to his move to Sheffield United.

Auston Trusty began his senior with Bethlehem Steel in 2016 aged 18. It was in January of 2022 that he joined Arsenal from the Major league soccer. He was thereon loaned to Birmingham City FC shortly after for rest of the 2022/23 season. He made 48 appearances for the club while scoring 4 goals in the meantime.
Sheffield United who have gained promotion to the Premier League for the upcoming 2023/24 season, have been fantastic lately. The side finished second in the championship 2022/23 season. With 28 wins in 46 matches, the side managed to accumulate a total of 91 points thereby finishing below only Burnley in the league.
