Antonio Conte and Tottenham Hotspur are considering a summer deal for Fulham loanee Manor Solomon from Shakhtar Donetsk
Ynet reports that Antonio Conte and Tottenham Hotspur are considering a summer deal for Fulham loanee Manor Solomon from Shakhtar Donetsk.
According to the rumour, Tottenham is keeping tabs on the Israeli international winger currently on loan at London and Premier League rivals Fulham from Ukrainian powerhouses Shakhtar.
The 23-year-old, who can play both forward and in the midfield, joined the Cottagers on loan in the summer of 2022. Solomon is “a dynamic, forward-looking attacker,” according to Fulham’s official website.
London club vice-chairman Tony Khan praised Solomon as “a very bright young footballer” in July 2022. The winger has been used seven times off the bench for Fulham in the Premier League so far this season.
The kid has tallied three goals in that span of games. According to Ynet, Solomon is hoping to make his loan to Fulham permanent at the conclusion of the current campaign.
Manor Solomon being linked to Tottenham Hotspur is hardly likely to thrill the club’s North London faithful, in our opinion. The winger is a dynamic and talented young player, but he’s only just 23 years old.
The Israel national team player has not exactly exploded in popularity in England. To make a consistent run at the Premier League’s top four and into the UEFA Champions League, Tottenham needs to add veteran players who can help them reach the next level.
