Mitrovic to join Al Hilal on permanent deal
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Aleksandar Mitrovic’s move to Al Hilal has almost been completed. The three year deal had been agreed to by both Fulham and Al Hilal weeks ago. An agreement has also been reached for a package worth more than £50m. The player will have his medicals in Paris following which he’ll take the flight to Saudi tonight.
Aleksandar Mitrovic who was born in 1994 began his senior career with Serbian club – Teleoptik in the 2011/12 season. He joined Partizan the following year and stayed there for two years. His next move saw him join Belgian club, Anderlecht. After 44 goals in 90 games at the club in two seasons, he joined Newcastle in 2015/16 season.
He made a move to Fulham in 2017/18 season on loan which became a permanent one the following year. During his six year stay at the club so far, the player has made over 200 appearances for the club scoring 111 goals.
Al hilal have been in rather poor form lately. The side finished third in the league last season below Al Ittihad and Al Nassr. The team won’t be a part of the Asian Champion’s league next season. The side however has made a winning start to its league campaign this season.
The major motto hereon will be to achieve better results in the league and win the title which has been escaping their grip over the past few seasons. The onus will be on the club’s new signings including Aleksandar Mitrovic to help the side achieve its objectives in the upcoming times.
