Sion player Mario Balotelli has made a move to the Turkish league yet again via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Swiss club Sion only last season is now all set to part ways with the team so as to join Adana Demirspor once again. The player’s move to his new club in Turkey has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.
Mario Balotelli joins Adana Demirspor on a permanent deal
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Mario Balotelli’s move to Adana Demirspor has almost been completed. The player shall be joining the club following the termination of his contract at Sion. Balotelli shall thus be joining Adana as a free agent.

Mario Balotelli who was born in 1990 began his senior career with Lumezzane in 2006 at the age of 16. He made a move to Inter Milan the following year. After having spent three years at the club, he joined Manchester City in 2010. He joined AC milan after another three years. He spent a couple of years at the club following which he joined Liverpool only to be loaned back to the Rossoneri the following year.
He stayed at Ligue 1 club Nice from 2016 to 2019 scoring a staggering 43 goals in 76 matches. It was in 2021 that he joined Adana Demirspor for the first time. Around a couple years later he left for Sion in early 2023. Now he is all set to make a return to the Turkish club yet again.
Adana Demirspor have been in fairly good form lately. The team finished fourth in the league last season. With 69 points throughout the season, the team managed to cement a spot in the upcoming season’s Europa Conference league qualifiers. The team’s next major motto will be to perform brilliantly well in the ongoing league season too. The onus will be on the team’s new signings including Mario Balotelli to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
