Luiz Felipe makes a move to Saudi club following Real Betis exit
Real Betis player Luiz Felipe has made a move to the Saudi Pro League via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past few days. The player who joined only last year is now all set to part ways with the Spanish club so as to join Al Ittihad. The player’s move to his new club in Saudi Arabia has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.
Luiz Felipe joins Al Ittihad on a permanent deal
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Luiz Felipe’s move to Al Ittihad has almost been completed. The player shall be joining the Saudi club on a permanent mmm ove with Betis receiving a €25m package including the add ons. The player’s medicals had been completed on Wednesday initially.
Luiz Felipe who was born in 1997 began his senior career with Ituano in the year 2015 at the age of 18. He joined Italian club – Salernitana on loan in the 2016/17 season. The following season he made a move to Lazio in the Serie A on a permanent deal. He spent the upcoming 5 seasons at the club during which he got to make 144 appearances for his side. It was in 2022 that he joined La Liga club – Real Betis. He played 30 matches for the club throughout the 2022/23 season.
Al Ittihad have been in wonderful form lately. The team won the league title last season with a total of 72 points in 30 matches throughout the season. The team shall be featuring in this season’s AFC champions league too due to its brilliant show in the league last season.
