Beto makes a move to Premier League club following Udinese exit
Udinese player Beto has made a move to the Premier League via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Udinese around a couple years ago is now all set to part ways with the club so as to join Premier league club – Everton. The player’s move to his new club in England has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.
Beto joins Everton on a permanent deal
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Beto’s move to Everton has almost been completed. The player is joining the English club on a deal worth more than €30m on a permanent move. The contract with respect to Beto’s move shall be valid for a period of four years until 2027.
Beto who was born in 1998 began his senior career with Portuguese club Olympico Montijo in the 2018/19 season at the age of 20. He made a move to Portimonense the following year. After having made 47 appearances for the club in three years thereon, he made a move to Udinese on loan in the 2021/22 season.
His move became a permanent one the following season as he began finding his rhythm in Italy. The striker scored a total of 22 goals in 65 matches for the club during his two year stay in Serie A. Everton have been in extremely poor form lately. The team finished 17th in the league last season. With 36 points in 38 games throughout the entire 2022/23 league season, the team managed to narrowly escape the relegation zone.
The team’s major motto will be to perform better in the ongoing league season and avoid relegation to the championship at all cost. The onus will be on the team’s new signings including Portuguese striker – Beto to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
