Real Madrid Transfer News: El Nacional reports that Real Madrid is attempting to get Paulo Dybala for a bargain €12 million to serve as Karim Benzema’s backup. For clubs outside of Italy, the Argentine has a release clause in his contract with AS Roma for the aforementioned sum. Meanwhile, Dybala has a €20 million release clause for Italian clubs.
The conclusion of the 2023–24 season marks the end of Benzema’s current contract. The Frenchman has resumed his role as Los Blancos’ primary offensive catalyst. In 37 games in all competitions, he has scored 29 times.
Even though Brazilian superstar Endrick will join Los Blancos in 2024, the club is not yet ready to rely solely on the youngster to carry the offensive load. Therefore, they are shopping around for a reliable replacement up front.
Meanwhile, Dybala has been performing well for AS Roma this year. In all competitions, the former Juventus great has contributed 16 goals and eight assists for Jose Mourinho’s squad.
Real Madrid has been mentioned in connection with the Argentine, who has been linked with a move away from the Serie A club due to his relatively low transfer fee.

Karim Benzema, the 2022 Ballon d’Or winner, scored a hat-trick against Almeria and was instrumental in a 4-2 victory. He currently has 17 goals in 21 La Liga games, only two behind Robert Lewandowski for the league lead.
Benzema has been the team’s offensive leader once again this season, despite missing significant time due to injuries.
Vinicius Junior will miss the match on May 2 against Real Sociedad after receiving his tenth yellow card of the season in the previous game against Almeria. The Real Madrid club will once again depend on their number nine player to lead them to victory.
