Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur would not be allowed to sign Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan during the January transfer window

It has been reported through Twitter by CBS Sports’ Ben Jacobs that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur would not be allowed to sign Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan during the January transfer window.

Jacobs has hinted that there is a chance that Tottenham won’t be able to sign the centre defender in the next summer of 2023.

It was claimed in the summer of 2022 that Tottenham attempted to recruit Italy international centre defender Andrea Bastoni from Inter for £89,000 per week (SalarySport).

Spurs manager and former Inter player Antonio Conte reportedly still have an interest in the defender. There is still hope for Tottenham Hotspur to get Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan, in our opinion.

We don’t expect Inter to sell the 23-year-old in the midst of the season. After all, Inter’s goal this season is to place in the top four of Serie A, therefore the club would be foolish to jeopardize that goal by trading off any of its key players.

On the other hand, relocating in the summer of 2023 is not out of the question. With a strong offer to Inter and Bastoni, plus a spot in the UEFA Champions League for the next season, Tottenham may be able to get the kid to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
