Bayern Munich supporters have a message for Manchester United's owners.
Manchester United were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League after losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich in a must-win game for the home team. To add insult to injury, Bayern Munich fans demonstrated against the ‘expensive’ ticketing at Old Trafford by holding banners and singing slogans. To many people’s astonishment, the stunt was met with cheers and encouragement by Manchester United fans, who yelled “Glazers out.”
Manchester United’s administration, Glazers, has been under fire in recent years for a variety of reasons, including ticket costs. “Twenty is plenty” and “50 £ Glazers’ overkill” were banners put up by Bayern fans.
Amid inquiry and criticism, Manchester United is preparing for a (25%) takeover by Sir Jim Ratcliffe. However, it is uncertain whether or not ticket costs would be cut. Bayern Munich’s traveling fans have one of the highest average attendances in road games. The Germans made their presence clear as Manchester United were defeated by a single goal from Kingsley Coman.

Manchester United eliminated from the UEFA Champions League
Manchester United have been eliminated from Europe after failing to win a must-win game against Bayern Munich. Erik Ten Hag’s management job at Manchester United is in jeopardy as the club fails to qualify for the Champions League for the third time in four years. United were defeated by a Kingsley Coman goal in a ‘cagey’ encounter in which neither team managed more than three attempts on target.
United and Bayern had a ‘gritty’ and physical encounter in which the home team only managed one shot on goal in 90 minutes. United scored with a ‘dagger in the heart’ in the 70th minute. Inside the area, Harry Kane set up Kingsley Coman, who finished strongly past Andre Onana.
