Tottenham Hotspur’s 29-year-old striker Harry Kane is not currently the subject of any negotiations between the La Liga champions Real Madrid and Kane’s current club Tottenham

Caught Offside’s Fabrizio Romano reports that Real Madrid and Harry Kane are unlikely to reach an agreement this year. As winners of La Liga, they are not negotiating a transfer for the Tottenham star. Nonetheless, the 29-year-old attacker is still a priority for Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich.

Since joining Tottenham’s first team, Harry Kane has been one of the league’s top performers. It took the 29-year-old some time to make an impact at the north London club. But for the past six years, he has been Tottenham’s shining star.

The English national team player has been playing really well so far this season. Kane has scored 17 goals and assisted on three more in his 26 total games played this season. However, given Tottenham’s lack of success, the player may be looking to try something different this summer. The England captain has been mentioned in connection with Real Madrid in recent rumours.

This season, Karim Benzema has had trouble staying healthy. Real Madrid will need a replacement for the Frenchman in the next season even though he is still performing at a high level. Since Endrick won’t be joining the team until July 2024, the Merengues need to have a backup plan for their starting point guard position.

Thus, it was rumoured that Real Madrid was making Kane one of their primary priorities. Additionally, the 29-year-old may have been a valuable asset to Real Madrid. Despite this, Fabrizio Romano has implied that the current La Liga winners are not negotiating a contract to acquire the Tottenham striker. But Bayern Munich is still interested in signing the English international. And the Bundesliga winners might go on the attack to sign Kane during the summer transfer window. I am curious whether the veteran striker will quit Tottenham before the 2023/24 season.
