Mourinho silences his critics yet again
Roma under Mourinho have been a totally transformed team in the recent past. The side has been absolutely unbeatablebon a number of ocassions thanks to their sheer brilliance on the pitch lately. The team however hasn’t been able to get off to a good start this season. Due to the below par results that were being achieved by the team, a lot of fingers were being raised over Moutinho’s managerial abilities recently. The team hasn’t been able to put forth impactful performances towards the earlier phase of the league this season which was causing a lot of disappointment amongst the fans.
The team however finally managed to deliver a notworthy performance to register a resounding win against Frosinone on Monday. Lukaku along with Pellegrini were the ones who found the back of the net for their side as Roma bagged three crucial points. Mourinho’s immediate response following Roma’s sublime win was pretty straightforward. He said that people shouldn’t doubt him nowon. Now that the team has put forth a quality performance, it’s time for the critics to stop screaming.
Mourinho had his say on Lukaku’s performances
Mourinho also made it a point to discuss about the individual brilliances that helped Roma get over the line in the recent match against Frosinone. He said that Lukaku who had newly joined the club prior to the 2023/24 season was key to his side’s recent success. Mourinho said,“At least people now can’t accuse me of not helping Lukaku to score goals… he can score goals here at Roma but also at Man United or Inter”.“I’m not someone who destroys player’s quality”, he added.

Lukaku who joined the Italian club on loan from Chelsea during the recent transfer window has been fantastic for his new club lately. The Belgian has so far played 6 games for Roma scoring 4 goals. It remains to be seen as to whether the player is able to continue his fine form for the side during the remainder of the season or not in the times to come.
