Manchester United Transfer News: Borussia Dortmund has been in contact with Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho
Manchester United Transfer News: CaughtOffside claims that Borussia Dortmund has been in contact with Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho about a possible summer transfer back to the Bundesliga. It has been reported that the club’s sports director, Sebastian Kehl, is in constant communication with Sancho’s representation.
After an extremely successful four years at Signal Iduna Park, Sancho joined United in a deal of €85 million in 2021. The England international has been at the Red Devils for two seasons, but he has yet to make a significant contribution.
The team’s manager, Erik Ten Hag, has said that the player’s “physical and mental problems” are to blame for his time away from the starting lineup. As a result, he had to sit out of a number of United’s Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup, and EFL Carabao Cup games. Sancho was also not included in England’s World Cup team that was playing in Qatar.
Sancho has only scored six goals this season despite making 34 appearances (6 starts) in the Premier League. As a consequence, he may be looking to make a loan transfer to Dortmund in order to return to the Bundesliga.

While Dortmund may be interested in signing Sancho, CaughtOffside points out that the player’s exorbitant salary may be a problem if the club is unable or unwilling to pay such a large sum. The future of the Manchester United winger in the Bundesliga is uncertain. There has been talk between Dortmund and the player’s representation, so it’s not completely out of the question.

Jadon Sancho, Marcel Sabitzer’s colleague at Manchester United, has been rumoured to need more time in the Premier League.
After a huge transfer fee to Old Trafford, Sancho has not been able to recreate his stellar play from his time at Borussia Dortmund. While the extra pressure may have subconsciously hampered Sancho’s performances, Sabitzer is confident in his ability to flourish in England.
