Liverpool, led by Jürgen Klopp, showed interest in Mohamed Kudus, but Erik ten Hag is certain that he can make an even bigger impact at Manchester United

Liverpool, led by Jürgen Klopp, showed interest in Mohamed Kudus, but Erik ten Hag is certain that he can make an even bigger impact at Manchester United.

The Manchester Evening News is credited with these new allegations concerning Kudus. The MEN is of the opinion that United will be actively pursuing major acquisitions this summer.

The likes of Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, Jude Bellingham, and Frenkie de Jong are all there. Then there’s Kudus, who Ten Hag supposedly thinks has Premier League star potential.

In the Netherlands, while coaching at Ajax, Ten Hag got to know Kudus well. This summer, United may try to reunite Ten Hag and Kudus by offering him a contract, but they’ll face stiff competition from other teams like Liverpool.

Planet Sports Liverpool reportedly scouted Kudus when he was playing for Ghana in the World Cup, but the news first broke in Ghana. To assist Ghana to overcome South Korea in Qatar, Kudus was outstanding. He scored twice.

The 22-year-old has been impressive for all of this season, despite Ajax’s struggles. In his previous nine appearances, Kudus has scored six times and assisted one for Ajax.

Kudus has scored 16 goals in 32 appearances this season, demonstrating his prowess as an offensive midfielder, striker, and right winger. For Liverpool to reenergize their team, signing a player of Kudus’s calibre who can play many positions effectively would be a great move.

Kudus scored a spectacular goal for Ajax against Liverpool earlier this season, and the Reds were there to see it. The presence of Ten Hag may be the issue. The United manager has shown tremendous pull power over his old Ajax side by signing two of his former players, Lisandro Martinez and Antony. Kudus could have a similar opinion, and Liverpool would be devastated if he decided to go for United this summer.
