Kamil Grabara set to join German club following Copenhagen exit
Copenhagen player Kamil Grabara has made a move to the Bundesliga via this summer’s transfer window. The negotiations with respect to the player’s move were taking place over the past few days. The player who had joined Copenhagen around a couple years ago is now all set to part ways with the club so as to join Wolfsburg. The player’s move to his new club in Germany has almost been completed as per the confirmations of several sources.
Kamil Grabara joins Wolfsburg on a permanent deal
Fabrizio Romano via his official revelation let everyone know that Kamil Grabara’s move to Wolfsburg is almost a done deal. The player is closing in on a move to the Bundesliga club as the team announced his signing on a long term contract. The deal shall be valid from June 2024.
Kamil Grabara who was born in 1999 began his senior career with Liverpool in the year 2018 at the age of 19. He was loaned out to Danish club – AGF that same season. He spent the following season in Huddersfield Town on loan. After having spent the 2020/21 season with AGF on loan yet again, he joined Copenhagen on a permanent deal. The last two years with the club saw the goalkeeper make 76 appearances for the club.
Wolfsburg have been in fairly good form lately. The side finsihed 8th in the league last season. With 49 points in 34 games throughout the season, the team narrowly missed out on a place in the upcoming season’s Europa Conference league qualifiers.
The team’s major motto will be to perform even better in the ongoing league season and cement their place in the European competitions for the upcoming season. The onus will be on the way team’s new signings including the Polish international – Kamil Grabara to help the side achieve its objectives hereon.
