Ghanaian politician, Isaac Adongo, has publicly apologized to Harry Maguire
Harry Maguie has accepted Isaac Adongo apology and invited him to the Old Trafford.
During a parliamentary discussion last year, Ghanaian MP Isaac Adongo addressed Manchester United player Harry Maguire in a bad light. The MP made fun of Harry Maguire’s performances for the club, comparing them to the country’s financial position.
Harry Maguire was bombarded with haters when the video went public. However, Adongo has apologized for his insults, and the defender has responded with dignity.
The Ghanaian MP sees parallels between Maguire and the country’s Vice President, Mahamadu Bawumia. Adongo stated, while accusing the latter of mismanaging cash, that “Harry Maguire is United’s biggest threat, and he plays in the heart of their defense.”
The video went viral last year when Ghana faced an economic crisis and inflation.
Adongo is shown in a new video apologizing for his previous statements. He described Maguire as a ‘transformational footballer’ who had reached a turning point in his career. He also mentioned that the 30-year-old is scoring goals for the club.
