Cristiano Ronaldo Transfer News: Sporting CP Wants to sign him back
Cristiano Ronaldo Transfer News: Cristiano Ronaldo, a superstar for Al-Nassr who has been the subject of the recent controversy that has led to calls for his deportation, allegedly has received an offer to return to Sporting CP.
After being jeered at by the Al-Hilal supporters for the whole of Tuesday’s (April 18) league match, the Portugal legend made an obscene gesture in their direction. Al-Nassr lost 2-0 in front of hostile crowds at the King Fahd International Stadium.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was also reportedly provoked by fan chants of Messi’s name. Ronaldo was apparently observed showing his home crowd some disdain by touching his genitalia as he left the field.
Since then, many have demanded that he be deported, and one famous attorney has even promised to file a petition demanding his expulsion.

The lawyer in question, Nouf bin Ahmed, was quoted as saying, via Fichajes.com: “Even if the crowd provoked Ronaldo, he didn’t know how to react. Cristiano’s behaviour is a crime. An indecent public act, which is one of the crimes that allows for arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner. We will present a petition to the Public Ministry regarding the issue.”

According to El Nacional, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Al-Nassr because he is dissatisfied there. Sporting CP seems to be cognizant of this fact since they have made him an offer to return.
Ronaldo established himself as a professional football player with Sporting. Before departing for Manchester United in August 2003, he earned 31 appearances for their junior program after joining in 1997.
After a lacklustre performance in his team’s 0-0 draw with Al-Feiha on April 9, Cristiano Ronaldo needed a big game against Al-Hilal.
The Faris Najd captain had four shots against Al-Hilal, but none of them was on target, and he failed to set up any scoring opportunities. He was marked out of the game, as shown by the fact that he played the whole 90 minutes yet completed just 15 passes.
With his yellow card, Ronaldo saw the game out. In his previous six league appearances, the ex-Real Madrid star has just two goals. What his fate will be in Riyadh is still up in the air.
The captain of Al-Nassr has a contract that keeps him in the lineup until the summer of 2025. His side is currently in second place in the league, three points behind Al-Ittihad with a game in hand.
