Chelsea New Head Coach: Who will be the manager of Chelsea till the end of this season?

Chelsea New Head Coach: Frank Lampard, a former Chelsea player and manager, has allegedly agreed to take over as temporary manager until the conclusion of the season.

The Times reports that the 44-year-old has conducted positive negotiations with the Blues and will be announced soon, in time for the club’s next Premier League match against Wolves.

Lampard was recently fired from his position as manager of Everton and had a less-than-stellar stint at Stamford Bridge before being replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

Lampard, though, seems to be the one picked to help Chelsea through a difficult season under new owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali.

Although Lampard may not be the best choice for CFC in the long run, he should be able to get them through to the conclusion of the season until a permanent replacement for Graham Potter can be found.

Among the top contenders for the position are Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique, as reported by Fabrizio Romano in his CaughtOffside blog.

As his spectacular return to Chelsea draws near, Frank Lampard is expected to arrive at the club’s Cobham headquarters today morning and participate in training later.

Lampard, who was seen leaving his home on Thursday morning, has been invited to serve as caretaker manager of the Blues, the team who fired him two years ago.

Chelsea New Head Coach: Frank Lampard will be the interim manager

On Tuesday, he was Behdad Eghbali’s guest as he watched Chelsea’s 0-0 draw against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea’s all-time leading scorer and former manager, Frank Lampard, was in attendance for a scoreless draw that did nothing to bolster the credentials of interim manager Bruno Saltor, one of Potter’s assistants who volunteered to remain on after Potter was fired on Sunday.

On Wednesday afternoon, Chelsea and Lampard reached an agreement, giving the club hope that Lampard will be able to lead the team in Saturday’s Premier League match away to Wolves and next week’s Champions League quarterfinal first leg away to Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
