Arsenal – Top 3 transfers of 2023/24 season

English professional football club Arsenal has been in the news for their good work in the transfer window this summer. Arsenal competes in the Premier League, the top flight of English Football. It is the third most successful club in English football. The Mikel Arteta-managed side was runners-up last season and will be looking to cling to the title this season.

The club has won 13 league titles, a record 14 FA Cups, two League Cups, 17 FA Community Shields, the Football League Centenary Trophy, one European Cup Winners’ Cup, and one Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. Arsenal was valued World’s tenth most valuable football club. Arsenal is known for its strong squad and has done well down the years to sign some great talents all over the world. They have signed some big names to excel in the upcoming season. Here are the top three signings of Arsenal for the 2023-24 season:

1) Declan Rice – English midfielder Declan Rice has made his move to Arsenal this season after playing seven seasons with West Ham United. He has made 204 appearances for West Ham in the Premier League and has 10 goals beside his name. He was transferred to Arsenal for a fee of around £100 million making him the most expensive English player. He has also scored one goal for Arsenal in his five appearances.

2) Kai Havertz – German international Kai Havertz signed for Arsenal this season after making a successful move from Chelsea for a transfer fee reported £65 million. Havertz has 19 Premier League goals with Chelsea and will be looking to carry on his record with his new side.

Havertz has made 91 appearances for Chelsea in the Premier League and has good experience of the tournament. The young talent has represented his national side at UEFA Euro 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

3) David Raya – Spanish Goalkeeper David Raya was signed by the Premier League side on loan this summer from Brentford. Arsenal paid £3 million to complete the loan deal, which has a purchase option of £27 million.

Raya has made his debut for Arsenal this season and has already made two appearances. He will be looking to have an excellent year with Arsenal. Raya is experienced and is a well-spoken goalkeeper. Arsenal will be looking to bring the best out of him this season.
